Paperwork checked, then paid before loading
On the agreed day we match your ID and V5C or receipt to the frame number. The bank transfer goes next. We load only after you've seen it arrive.

What we ask and why
Every price starts with the make and model, then the year. Farm machines are then valued mostly on hours (a photo of the dash with the ignition on is ideal), and e-bikes on mileage.
Then condition. Does it start? Does it run? Tell us about any damage or warning lights, and whether it was ever an insurance write-off. For paperwork, that's the V5C if it's registered or the original invoice if not. Mention any finance still owing.
Photos are optional but firm up the offer, especially close-ups of damage. Your postcode lets us plan the collection.
No number plate? Most off-road machines never had one.

How the figure is built
We start from make and model and adjust for hours and condition, using what the same model is fetching right now. A service history helps. So do spare keys, working 4WD and extras like a winch.

Step 3: We collect and pay you
Booking a collection slot
Once you accept, we fix a day that works for you. Collection is free anywhere in Kent and London, and across the rest of the South East. If the lane is narrow or the field is soft, mention it when we book.
What we check on the day
Before any money moves we check your photo ID and proof of ownership against the frame or VIN number. Can't find yours? Here's the frame number location for each make. Lost both the V5C and the receipt? See other evidence of ownership that counts.
Your collection-day checklist
- Photo ID: passport or driving licence
- The V5C (or the original invoice or receipt)
- Every key, spares included
- For e-bikes, the charger and any spare batteries
- Service records and any attachments in the deal
- A finance settlement letter, if money is still owed
Bank transfer before loading
With the checks done, we send the transfer. You open your banking app, and only once you've seen the money do we load up. Until then, the machine stays yours.
Paperwork you keep
Keep a note of the date, the price, our company name and the frame number. If it's registered, the keeper also tells the DVLA it has been sold.
If the machine isn't as described
A machine that matches your description gets the agreed price.
Say there's a fault you didn't mention, or it turns out to be a different model year. We show you what we've found and what it does to the price. Then you decide. Saying no costs nothing, not even the trip.
Selling with finance outstanding
Finance still owing doesn't stop a sale. Get a settlement figure and tell us who the lender is. We pay them directly, then send you the balance. If you owe more than our offer, that gap has to be cleared with the lender first. The step-by-step finance settlement guide has the detail.
Selling a non-runner
Flat battery, seized engine, snapped belt, crash damage: all fine. We bring the winch and still collect free. The price reflects the condition. Read what we look at on a non-running machine.
Machines we turn down
Walking away from a doubtful deal protects everyone, including whoever owns the machine next.
No proof of ownership at all
A missing V5C is fine if you have an invoice or other reasonable proof. With nothing at all, we can't buy.
Frame numbers that have been tampered with
If the frame or VIN number has been ground off or re-stamped, that ends the conversation. So does a mismatch with the paperwork.
Anything recorded or suspected as stolen
If a machine is recorded as stolen, or something gives us reason to think it might be, we won't buy it.

Questions about the process
Can someone else hand the machine over for me?
Ideally the seller, because ID and ownership are matched to that person. If someone else has to stand in, tell us when you say yes and we'll set out what they must bring.
At what moment am I actually paid?
On collection day, once the checks are done and before the machine is lifted onto the trailer. The bank transfer goes first and you confirm it has landed.
Can you collect from a field or barn?
Usually, yes. The trailer has a winch, so a non-runner stuck in a barn is fine as long as we can get to it.
How long does the whole thing take?
An offer comes within 24 hours. Collection is on a day you pick, and you're paid that same day before we load.
What exactly do you check before paying?
Photo ID, and proof of ownership such as the V5C or a purchase receipt. The frame or VIN number on the machine has to match that paperwork.
Can I pull out after accepting?
Right up until the transfer has been sent. It costs you nothing.
