Which Ultra Bee have you got?
The mid-size Sur-Ron, on a removable 74V pack. It sits between the Light Bee and the Storm Bee, and Sur-Ron UK sells it in two forms.

Ultra Bee X or T: why the V5C matters
To sell your Sur-Ron Ultra Bee, the first thing we'll ask is whether it has a V5C. The T is type-approved as an L3e motorcycle and registered with the DVLA, so like any other motorbike it has to be taxed and insured, and whoever rides it needs the right motorcycle licence. An off-road X has none of that paperwork and can't be registered as it stands.
Got a T? Check the name and address on the V5C are yours. An X relies on its invoice or order confirmation instead. Tidy paperwork earns more on either.

Replaced or reprogrammed? Give us the make and settings. On a T, any power change takes it out of its road-legal state. Mention it and we'll price it that way.
The 74V Ultra Bee pack
The priciest single part on the bike. If it's had a new pack or a repair, we'd like the workshop's name and their invoice.
Ultra Bee suspension and gearing
Sprocket changes and brake upgrades are fine. Serviced suspension with receipts helps the figure.
Ultra Bee parts in the box
Hand over anything you removed. A bike that can go back to standard spec is worth more to the next owner, because plenty of riders would sooner pick their own upgrades than inherit yours.
How old is the Ultra Bee's battery?
Most of the money in an Ultra Bee sits in the 74V pack. Tell us how old it is and roughly how many times it's been charged. Where was it kept last winter? Screenshot any health or cycle figure your display or app shows.

Ultra Bee on finance or under warranty
Before paying for an Ultra Bee we confirm who you are and that you own it. Then we check the VIN. It's stamped at the headstock and should match your invoice (and your V5C, on a T).
It's one of Sur-Ron's newer bikes, so yours may well still be on finance. That's fine. The lender is paid off first, and the remainder is transferred to you before loading. Our guide to selling while a finance agreement is running walks through it.
Newer bikes may also have warranty left. Sur-Ron UK and the selling dealer set those terms. Bring the invoice and any service records and we'll factor the cover in.
We won't buy one with a tampered VIN. Nor one where nothing shows the bike is yours, or where the police are involved.
Where the Ultra Bee X and T can go
Most Sur-Ron, Talaria, Stark Varg and E Ride Pro models are not road legal. They're for private land with the landowner's permission, and tracks. We never suggest riding a non-road-legal bike on public roads.

You can. We pay off the lender and transfer the balance to you before the bike is loaded.
Is the Ultra Bee road legal?
Only the road-going T, registered with a V5C. The off-road X isn't.
Does the warranty transfer?
That's down to Sur-Ron UK and the selling dealer. Bring the paperwork and we'll count any cover left.
Can I sell an Ultra Bee without the dealer invoice?
Usually. An order email can show it's yours, and so can the bank entry for the payment. Either gets checked against the headstock VIN.
